Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Relustt does with your information, covering both this website and the Relustt iPhone app.
We built a product people use in the most private part of their lives. That shapes every decision below.
The short version
- Your browsing never leaves your phone. The content blocker filters on-device. We do not proxy, route, log, or see the sites you visit.
- We do not sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- We do not know what you look at. The blocker's filtering happens locally, so there is nothing for us to know.
- Your recovery data is yours. Streaks, urge logs, and lesson progress exist to serve you, and you can delete them.

Relustt is operated as an independent app business. For any privacy question, or to exercise any right described below, contact z.dubaka@gmail.com.
For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we act as the data controller for the information described here.
What the blocker does and does not do
The content blocker is a native iOS content blocker. iOS hands the filtering rules to Safari and supported apps, and the filtering happens inside your device.
This means:
- We do not operate a VPN or proxy for the blocker.
- Your web traffic is not routed through our infrastructure.
- We receive no record of the sites you visit, block, or attempt to visit.
Many competing products work by routing all of your traffic through their servers. We deliberately did not build it that way.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details if you create an account, such as an email address.
- Web quiz answers and name are saved in your browser tab and in our Supabase database to personalize your plan. We record quiz steps, answer changes, time on steps, campaign tags, device category, price selection, and checkout milestones to understand completion and drop-off. After verified payment and account activation, a purchase-time copy of your answers is linked to your account and retrieved when you sign into the app. Start over begins a new quiz journey; it does not delete earlier server records. The safe word and drawn signature stay in page memory and are excluded from browser storage, analytics, and checkout data.
- Recovery data you enter in the app: clean-day streaks, urge logs, check-ins, and lesson progress.
- Messages you send us for support, and posts you make in community features.
- Conversations with the in-app AI coach. Unlike the blocker, the AI coach requires sending your messages off the device to generate a reply. Those messages are processed by a third-party AI provider under contract and are used to produce your response.
Information collected automatically
- Basic app and site analytics: app version, device type, operating system version, approximate region, crash reports, and aggregate usage patterns such as which screens are opened.
- Standard server logs for this website, including IP address and user agent, retained for security and troubleshooting.
Information we do not collect
- Your browsing history.
- The content of sites blocked or visited on your device.
- Contacts, photos, precise location, or microphone data.
Why we use it

We do not use your recovery data to build advertising profiles, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers on this website.
Payments
In-app purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Web purchases are processed through Stripe Checkout. We do not receive or store your full card number. Stripe provides payment and subscription information so we can activate and manage your access, including customer, checkout, and subscription identifiers and subscription status. A temporary browser cookie links your web purchase to the account you activate. Quiz answers and your safe word are not sent to Stripe. Each payment provider handles your payment information under its own privacy policy.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the product, and only what they need:
- Apple — app distribution, subscription processing.
- Stripe — processing web payments and managing web subscriptions.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — running this website and our backend.
- An AI provider — generating responses in the in-app coach, when you use it.
- Analytics and crash reporting providers — aggregate product usage and stability.
These providers process data on our instructions under contract. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to protect the safety of someone at risk.
How long we keep it
- Recovery data — for as long as your account exists.
- Support messages — up to 2 years.
- AI coach conversations — retained only as long as needed to provide and debug the feature.
- Server logs — typically 30 days.
Delete your account and we delete the associated personal data, other than anything we must keep for legal or accounting reasons (for example, records of a transaction).
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Delete your data
- Export your data in a portable form
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, these are your GDPR rights and you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in California, you have equivalent rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

Security
We use encryption in transit, restrict internal access to personal data, and keep the most sensitive thing about this product — what you browse — off our servers entirely by design. No system is perfectly secure, but the strongest protection is not holding data in the first place, and that is the approach we have taken.
Children
Relustt is not directed at children. You must be 18 or older to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
International transfers
We are based in the European Union. Some of our service providers operate outside the EEA. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Changes
If we make a material change to this policy, we will update the date below and, where the change meaningfully affects you, notify you in the app or by email.
